How to Tag your Google+ Friends on Blogger posts

Google often integrate their social networking site Google+  with Blogger. Earlier Google introduced the Google+1 button, Google+ Badge and Google+ Followers widgets for the Blogger. Now this offers extended with Google+ Mentions in your blog posts.

Yes, you can mention / tag your Google plus friends and pages also directly in your blogger posts. Already you know about tagging your friends in Google+ social site. Mentions means you can send or call a important notification to particular person that will be sent through email. In blogger also that is same concept, you can tag  anybody even they not in your friends list.

Simply type the symbol "+" and some starting letters of your friends, you will get all matching suggestions of your friends and pages. Once you mention somebody in your blog post, the readers can see the the link of that Google+ profile. If they want add him in their circles, they can do easily by moving the mouse cursor to the link. If they click the link, they directly go to that Google+ profile.

After your post published, your linked friends will be notified instantly about your mention. This feature works posts and also on blogger static pages.

Note: 
To use this Mention feature, you need to integrate your  Google+ profile to Blogger profile. For this simply click the Gear button on the upper right side in Blogger Dashboard. Then click on Settings -> Connect to Google+ . Now click the "Switch to Google+" button to switch your blogger profile to Google+.

And that's done everything, now enjoy the mentions feature.
