Google has launched its new service Google+ Hangouts at the Google I/O Event 2013. Hangouts app will be the unified messaging system and it replaces all other Google chat services such as Gmail chat, Google+ chat and Google Talk. Hangouts lets you to send text messages, share photos, make free video calls up to 10 friends at once and across the various devices like Android, iOS and your PC.

 How to Use Google+ Hangouts in Gmail?

Google+ Hangouts replaces Gmail Talk app, so you can use Hangouts instead of Google Talk in your Gmail. You will see the notification message that shows upgrade to new Google+ Hangouts app. Alternatively you can switch to Hangouts by simply click on your profile picture and click on “Try the new Hangouts” menu. Then you will be upgraded to use and you can see the chat window that containing babble like profiles in the order of most recent conversations.

    I tried this app but it is bit complicated to keep our privacy. It shows to everyone about availability. No options for block friends. I have uninstalled and started using older gtalk
