Yahoo released a new weather app for the iPhone and iPod Touch that has an amazing look and gorgeous interface. The app displays weather status with a different image as the background of each location. This is a cool one, because all are beautiful high quality photos that match your location and they will be changed for the time of the day and your current weather conditions.
This app shows on the main page are current temperature, minimum, maximum temperatures and present conditions of weather like cloudy, most cloudy, etc. If you hold the device in landscape mode, you can see the background image in detail with the city name and current temperature only. You can swipe vertically to get more details of weather of your city.
There is a forecast section that shows expected temperatures for the next five days. Also you can view some more cool features are the satellite view of the city, temperature graph, heat and wind maps.
Yahoo! Weather app integrated with Flickr Photos and the background images taken from user submitted Flickr photos. So you can also submit beautiful photos for your city on Project Weather Flickr group here.
