Facebook has officially released its chat application, Facebook Messenger for Windows Phones. It was announced last week at MWC event and the app already available for Android and iOS platforms. Facebook Messenger comes with a new user interface and provides full chat experience with all features including image sharing, stickers and group conversations etc.

Facebook Messenger lets you see who is online for a private or group chats, you can send private messages and bring messages with pictures and stickers. You can share your location to find out nearby friends and all of your friends will be added automatically in the People Tab. There is also an option to import any new contacts.

Microsoft Launched OneDrive Officially for Web, Android and iOS

Microsoft has officially launched its cloud service OneDrive, which was rebranded from SkyDrive last month because of the naming problem. OneDrive is a free cloud storage service and gives you one place for all types of your files similar to Google Drive and Dropbox services. Now it is available globally and comes with some bonus storage offers.

The existing SkyDrive customers can get the new OneDrive experience directly and can avail all the features without any change. Microsoft offers 7 GB of cloud storage for every new user who signs up for OneDrive. Microsoft introduced the referral system also, so the users can earn free 500 MB extra storage for every referral friends up to 5 GB.

Download Official Vine App for Windows Phones Now Available

Vine is the popular social network based on videos has launched the official application for Windows Phones. Vine was acquired by Twitter and launched the feature of capture short looping videos in 6-seconds. And you can share the 6-seconds videos instantly on social networking sites. Already Android and iOS versions of this app available, so Windows Phone users were used another third party app named 6sec.

Vine for Windows Phone app is similar to Android and iOS versions. You can just tap and hold screen to capture new videos. There are different camera tools available to customize the video quality and you can use your front facing camera to take videos. Indian Railway Catering Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched its mobile application for Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 devices. IRCTC website is the biggest e-commerce site in India and it is always in huge traffic, so getting tickets in IRCTC is very hard process for users. Recently they upgraded the site with high capacity server to handle 4.15 lakh tickets per day.

The app lets you to book train ticket and offers services such as PNR enquiry, train schedules and routes, ticket availability, cancellation and history also. Before the launch of these apps, you can only book the tickets on mobiles through their mobile site (m.irctc.co.in) but it has also some problems to work. The app built with Metro user interface so it looks good and easy to use.

State Bank of India is the largest government sector bank has launched its official State Bank Freedom mobile banking App for Windows Phone devices. The app is already available for Android and iOS devices now they released the Windows phone version.
